Truck style question
I'm the new owner of an old truck so sorry for the elementary questions. Went to NADA to check truck price and had to pick between Styleside and Flareside. What's the difference? Mine's a 1977 F150 XLT, 460 engine, 2 wheel drive. Thanks.

Referrs to the type of bed on the truck. Styleside is flat sided with the wheel wells inside the bed. Flareside is what some call a step side, flares over the rear wheels, steps on the side of the bed, and the inside of the bed is only as wide as between the rear wheels.

Thanks so much for clearing up that simple question. Now I know I'm "stylesided", not "flaresided". I just know I'm going the learn a lot from all you experts out there once I start fixing up this old truck.
