keyless entry options please
1997 F-250 Heavy Duty CC Bought truck a few years back. It was missing the owners manual and the seperate book for the PSD. just wondering if anyone knows is there are different options for the keyless entry. I know I have worked on other vehicles where you could set things such as dome light on and off and when the horn honks. just wondering if anyone knows or where i could find out.
my problem is a ford factory alarm i purchased. i installed the alarm and it works great. arms when the doors are locked and disarms when doors unlocked. can be triggered by vibration or by the dome light coming on(when door opened etc). when i unlock it from inside alarm disarms. when i disarm it with keyless, domelight comes on and triggers alarm before it has time to disarm. thought about time delay relay of a few seconds on trigger circuit but cant find one for less than about $100.00. any input or help is greatly appretiated!!!

I have downloaded the manual for my 1997 Mountaineer from this web URL:

I know that it will also let you download Ford and Lincoln manuals there. While there was nothing under the F250/350 choice the F150 did have a link to download an F150/250 owner's guide.
Looking through it quickly, I was curious and have a decent internet connection, I did not see any options for the keyless entry for configuring it to do anything other than the basic operation.
