2002 Ford Explorer Sport, Comments Pro-Con
Looking for good or bad information on this vehicle. I presently own a '93 Explorer Sport, Auto, 2wd with 150,000 miles on it. Plan on getting a new one next year. Any feedback will be helpful from all owners.
I did manage to get the Vibration out of my 93 explorer. Both of the Axels were bent. Cost me 350.00 for two axels. Did the job myself, took about two hours. Worst part was putting in the gear oil. Stopped the Vibration. Took off the Firestones and put on Uniroyal Tiger paws for highway driving. I also tow my 14 foot jon boat with a 16 horse go-devil motor. I have not had any problems with the vibration in three years. Except when the tire pressure goes unchecked, A must here in north central Fl.
