2.3 timing
ok here it is my 88 ranger has the 2.3 into 5spd. i'm told that my stock mtr should be FI but i have a carb. is it true should i have efi??? Anyway back to my concern..... i checked my timing on staurday and found it to be 20btdc someone else said he had 10btdc... ok so i need to retard mine but..... there so mcuh crap around my dist that i can't seem to get to the bolt.. any help hints tips???? i just got this truck on thurs.. i traded in my 79 courier which i paid $40 for plus $300 and my payments are $120/month.. the truck is straight has newer radiator and exhaust from cat back. i do smell rotten eggs when the mtrs warm and i'm at the light... another q for you guys when it's cold my oil pressure is in the middle and the temp is down low as it warms up the gauges swap positions.. ie temp never above r in norm oil never below bottom of N in norm.....is this normal???
