Question New Owner-Keyless Install ???

Well I just got my '04 -6.0L And I love it.
I bought a factory Ford Keyless entry kit for the Superduty. Yes it is straight from ford and is the same one installed at the factory.

I would like to install this thing myself but it looks to be a pain. Does anyone have any insight. It appears as though Im going to need the wiring diagram for my truck to get started. Or should I just take this thing to the dealer and let them do it. I dont really trust my local dealer. Any tips would be great.

Let the dealer do it. Warranty implications. They may be slightly upset that you didn't buy it from them though.

Is this the keyless entry kit that sticks on the door? I.e., the one with the touch pad?

Or is it a kit that just makes the truck work with the wireless key fobs?

I had thought that they all came with the wireless key fobs, but maybe that's just the Lariot.

I would really like to get the touchpad, but it still seems too big and fat to me. My '88 T-Bird had a touch pad keyless entry that was nearly flush with the door versus the big stick-on unit they offer for the SD.

I've had the flush mount keypads before and they look great. This battery operated one I have now looks like a wart. Glad I have it though.
