Predator questions

Seeing that the tunner plugs in under the dash i asume that it has to pluged in to switch between settings. So that means no change ing on the fly. How long does it take to change settings? also i have a friend with a 6.0 if he should have a code come up, could i use my tunner to read his codes. Or does the tunner only recognize one truck.

I have the preditor on my 04/04 cc and it took about 10 min the first time. That is because it stores the original program into its memory. The later changes take about 7 min.

As far as reading codes, I think that you can read codes on any vehicle the programmer works on, but you can not do any chanding of programs on other vehicles until you put the original program in memory back into the original vehicle it is "married to".

If you put the original program back in your vehicle, it is then "un-married" and can now be used to program another vehicle.

even married to the truck I think it will still read codes on other trucks....

I THINK !?!?!

And I find that the diff between the 65 hp and 100 hp are such that I leave it in the 65hp 99.9% of the time...

better fuel economy and overall "feeling" of the truck...
