injectors HELP
Whats the difference between 97 and 2001 injectors?? ......... Somebody anybody I need to know just bought 8 for 100.00 and want to know if putting just one in will hurt anything ,and what is the deal with the no. 8 injector heard it was special

The 2001 injectors are split shot injectors and the 1997 are single shot (except for the California trucks). I'm not sure if you need to make any changes to run them, but they are compatable with the 1997 truck from everything I've heard.

Was hoping to get more fuel this thing doesn't smoke and I have done the mods I can ie fipk,3"dp no muffler,1705 tunner, at this time gotta get some gauges next finding out this is a must !! Also has anyone heard of replacing the spring in regulator with one from a 1999 or newer ?? Got this idea from a freind!! If so can I just shimm it alittle have some small AN washers .

Yes, you can shim the fuel pressure regulator or you can buy the California Regulator Kit from Ford. Both do the same thing, but the do-it-yourself version can be done for less than $1. CLICK HERE and scroll down, there are some directions on how to shim the FPR. You might also want to add this guys webpage to your favorites. TONS of information there.

John, Thanks a bunch that site really opened my eyes ! Can't understand why my truck smoked like my 89 idi for one weekend( I put a beatin on an older 5.0 mustang... it was an auto !! ) Now it is clear ???I't keeps coding the backpressure sensor error!! Anyway thanks again These truck rock !!
