Fuel Filter Tool?

This may be a dumb question. Forgive my ignorance, but what tool does everyone use to change their fuel filter? Especially, the one under the cab. Does Ford make something that I can buy to make it easier? Thanks.

That would be against Ford policy....

It's a 36mm socket. If you have a 4X4 with the skid plate you want to use the ratchet with a flex head. A good oil filter wrench could work. Easy? no way.

I use 36MM short socket with 1/2 inch rachet and it work pretty good and if you have patient to let it drain slowly then you will be alright as others have said they got fuel soak all over them and I didn't. It was not that hard as I first thought and of course not easy. Did change mine last week for first time and no water in fuel or lite the water in fuel light on on the dash.
