Difference between B-Series and Ranger

Difference between B-Series and Ranger
I know that the B-Series is basically a rebadged Ranger, but what are the differences between them? Is the suspension the same? Would a lift for a ranger work on a B-Series, specifically 97-2000 model years? Thanks.

They are the same truck. The differences are in the sheet metal, plastic, and trim. I haven't run into a major difference to speak of after working on two '98 B-Series (I bought Ford/Motorcraft parts and followed Ford instructions). Your lift kit should work, I know that the 4x4 suspension used the same parts as the Ranger when I did the Ball Joints and such.
