flywheels

I am planing on putting a 70's model 302 in my 86 F-150 which currently has a 300 in it. I was woundering what flywheel I could use. I have heard that 302 and 300 flywheels are balanced different. So saying that I go to the junk and find one for a 302 would I be able to use the clutch from the 300, (it is realativly new and I hate to waste it) or will I have to get a new clutch to? Also the 300 clutch is an 11 inch.

Thanks

clutch should interchange , big concern is balance , make sure you get the correct imbalance in the flywheel , I think the older 302/289 were 28oz. and the newer 80 and up (not sure of exact date of change) are 50oz.

A newer 351W truck flywheel will fit your 70 model 302 and the 11 inch set up should bolt right up.
