I haven't posted here yet so please bear with me. I have a 96 f-150 that i have owned for 2 years. I love the truck, but it is driving me crazy. I have replaced everything in the brake system, and i still get a slight squeel out of the left front wheel, and once in a while, usually after rain, the front wheel will lock up when the brakes are applied the first few times. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The noise could be coming from the brand of pad you are using. When I lived in Vegas, I had Raybestos pads on my truck, and they squealed to no end. I replaced them with Bendix, and have zero noise problems since. The only pads and shoes I would ever use are Bendix and Spectra One.
Are you having the rotors turned when you put new pads on it? If you're just doing a pad slap, then the pads may not seat in correctly, causing noise, pulling, premature lockup, etc.

Your brakes are locking up after a rain becasue of the metal in the pads, they rust ever so slightly when they are sitting, thus the first few times you hit the brakes they grab after a rain. Mine do the same, and its not a ford thing but a typr of metalic pad your using.
