Arrow Reprogramming for bigger tires....help

I was told that the Superlift Tru-Speed is a BIG HASSLE and not worth the money. What most places are doing is sending the vehicle back to the FORD dealer to be reprogrammed. According to SDHQ in Arizona, they send their vehicles that they install the EDGE kits on and have the settings default for stock tire size (31"), changed to the maximum setting the ECM can be programmed to, which is 601 RPM. This equates to having the vehicle ECM tricked into thinking it has 35" tires on it. SDHQ says 601 is the maximum setting the ECM can be programmed to, no more. My question is:

Those of you that have 37" and bigger tires on your '04 F250 PS's, what have you done to reprogram and correct shift points/speedo changes????????

I will install my kit/ 4.56's/ 37" tires next weekend and need to have facts from people that have similiar or bigger tire combinations.

Thanks

I did 8 inches and have 37's SS. Don't go with 4.56's... I just did 4.88's and am glad...

Truspeed is very worth it and works very good, and isn't any more of a "hassle" than hooking up a car stereo..

Talking Hmmmmm.... interesting

I have never seen one so I really don't know the extent of the hook up. Is it a "dial in" type of programmer? Hey YETI do you recommend this product? Have you or someone you know have one of these? One last question........Am I able to reprogram for gearing and tire changes?

Sorry for the bombardment of ?'s. I don't want to learn the hard way.....

From SL's site:

Main Features:
Corrects speedometer / odometer readings, and the speed signal sent to the engine, Powertrain, and anti-lock brake control modules. Besides the obvious, these modules affect fuel delivery, engine timing, and automatic transmission shift points.
Eliminates speed signal related reductions in engine performance and fuel economy, as well as related changes in exhaust emissions
Infinite adjustability provides precise speed signal calibration within 1%
Two settings allow off-roaders that seasonally run different height tires to correct their speed signal by flipping a switch
Simple four-wire hookup
Includes complete instructions and adjustment charts
Can be recalibrated infinitely for future tire size or gear ratio changes
Works on most vehicles equipped with an electronic speedometer

Others here run it and love it

Maybe go to Superlift's website, or any place that sells Superlift products?
