Help, The truck is like brand new,only has 14000 miles on it.Tried replacing egr
valve but code p401 came right back.I read after the fact that its usually
the DFPS.The Haynes book I have shows the location of the part,but ford
must have changed the part.I can't find it .I found the EVR which has the two
vac lines on it,with one going to top of egr.Where is this the DFPS? Will any of
that fuel cleaner work.I noticed they make a greased lightening brand that
supposed to work good.Is this normal for such low mileage? I found the part
online being called egr pressure sensor at $65.00.Didn't know if I should order
it or if there was another cure?

My 1999 Ford Expedition is giving codes P401,P402, and P1401. I think it was 2 preformed 90 deg segments. Apparently over time and exposure to chemicals the rubber looses its integrity. These 90's are collapsing at the bend. Although they appear to have a slight dimple, They completely collaps when the engine is turned on. I've run accros several vacuum hoses that appear to disentegrate. When I touched them a black powder comes off on to my hands. These 90
