Weird headlight wiring
I was checking some stuff out in my 96 f250's engine compartment today and I noticed I have a solenoid that activates my headlights. I was wondering if all the trucks around my year had this or is this something someone put on here? Reason i ask is because its got riged up wiring going on, someone ran 3 wires off it and one goes to the battery another goes up front and i can't trace it but its up near the head light, and another goes to the headlights wiring. I'll try to get a pic of it but does anyone know whats up with this? Thanks for the help, oh and its got a powertroke not gas.

someone may have added it in, i know i have two relays wired with 12 guage wire, it increases the voltage to the headlight bulb wich makes your lights brighter, there was a thread somewhere in this forum or one of the powerstroke forums called brighter whites, thats where i got the idea.
