I just looked at a new 2004 CC 4x4 PSD Lariat on a lot by my house. It comes with a factory 4" lift and Weld forged bead lok type rims and BFG M/T's. I have looked all over for these wheels and can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know if Ford gets special equipmint for their factory upgraded rigs that is not available to the public? The dealership was closed so there was no one I could ask.
I could be wrong, but I'm thinking all those add ons were done by the dealer. Look at the dealer add on sheet on passenger window, I'll bet you'll see it there what the dealer added. It's been my experience anyway.
You were correct on that.... I must assume that the same equipment is available some where. I have looked till I can't look any more and those rims are nowhere to be found. The first time I did not the the dealer "upgrade" sticker on the glass.
I'm not sure but the rims sound like weld stone crushers with simulated bead locks. Here is a link about them...http://www.off-road.com/jeep/reviews/weld/ I went to welsracing.com but could not find them...it looks like they recently re-designed teir web.
Those are very close but the holes are square shaped. I looked at the Weld site up and down to no avail. I'm not giving up just yet. I know they made more than 1 set.lol. Thanks for the tips guys.
