I'll admit it. I was completely wrong when I said those $15 shackles I put on my truck worked just as well as the more expensive ones. I put the new belltech shackles on today and WOW what a difference. The ride is much smoother. I thought it was because of the bilsteins but it wasn't at all. It was those cheap shackles.
I drove to mcpherson thursday with the old shackles and today with the new shackles. First trip I could feel every bump in the road as normal. The second trip it was like I had an air ride system on the truck. I was so much smoother.
Now I feel bad for telling all those people how great those cheap ones were.
