Well, bad news for myself today. I was on a 1400 mile trip headed home when I hit a nail and it killed my passenger rear tire. I got it changed and whatnot, then tried to find a new tire so I would still have a spare for the long haul. Not one ford dealer or tire salesman had any idea how to get the kind of michelin that is on my frigging truck (255 65 17)....I looked for 4 hours, probably over a dozen places. So, 200 miles into my trip I had to head back because I didnt want to get stuck if that tired went out too. I STILL have not found the right tire....gotta go hunting tomorrow for one so maybe I can still leave.
Im very ticked right now

On a side note to this, when I put the 18" wheels on my truck and went to have the dealer correct the speedo, he told me that that tire size was not in their computer so he could only get the speedo to within 1 mph of being right. I thought it was funny that my truck(along with others) came from the factory with tires that are not even in the service dept computer. I can tell you when I had my two replaced, I was told those tires were somewhere around $140-$145 from Ford. Tirerack.com has them for $145 if you can't find them anywhere in towm.
