Question About A Reburn
I had a 2-stage burned for my truck (93 Ranger 4.0) back in Feb. I absolutely love it, however, not two months after getting it, 92 octane became available, where we only had 91 before. I would like to add a 3rd program to take advantage of the 92, as well as get the current one changed to run on 90 octane so I can run E10, since it is the cheapest fuel and I would rather be running fuel that puts money back in the pockets of farmers rather than oil tycs.
My Question:
Being an EEC-IV, are these considered custom tunes. It will be a while before I would get it done, but I'd like to know what options I have available. I understand that the power benefit from 91 to 92 will not be huge, but just knowing it's available has got me wanting to be able to use it effectively, and to me, it will be worth it. FYI I have an OLD2 box code if that helps. Thanks.
