Wow-

I probably don't have to tell you to be very careful. That low a mileage opens up a lot of potential issues (cooling system, transmission seals, etc). Good luck though- if it's all there, it'd be one heckuva find.

Low mileage like that on almost a 10 year old vehicle isn't always a good thing. If it's just sitting around for long periods at a time that's bound to cause problems. I'd feel a lot better buying a truck that had 50,000 on it.

I know what you guys are saying, I've bought low milers before, and they haven't always been the best vehicles. I want to get a good look at it. I'm also wondering if its been just sitting out side all this time. and if the owner is like real old and has lot of dings in it, I think its worth a look see. its 2 hrs away from me, I'll make a day of it. I just bought a 1994 f150 for 10,000 with a 100,000 miles on it, and I thought that was too much, so this thing for 15,000 better look brand new, or I wouldn't consider it.

if you have access to a coolant system pressure tester(just like a bicycle pump really) i would definatly test that. unless the coolant is phosperous free and has been changed on a regular interval(around 2 years) it might start to corrode some areas. also check to see if the truck has been at least started on a regular basis.

thanks for the heads up, I'll try to get as much history as I can, a Honda dealership has the truck, so I won't be talking to the original owner, I suppose I could ask for the original owners name, unless he's passed away and his kids traded it in on a ricer.
