Anyone in here MAKE their own fishing lures?
I was just on the Janns/Netcraft Website searching for some materials, and I got curious to see if anyone in here made their own. I've really gotten into making spoons out of old silverware you find at yardsales, tying bucktail jigs, spinners, and assorted widgets from anything I can find. anyone else out there?

I do!
I make bass jigs (2 styles) and pour my own worms, jig trailers, Super Flukes, you name it. After about 5 years of practice, I don't think you can buy a better jig than you can make if you use premium components. I can make a jig for about 95 cents a piece. The best ones in Bass Pro go for around 3 something...
As far as worms go, you can melt old plastic and pour new worms with it. It's kinda nice to recycle that way.

Sandrat, send me a private message. I'd love to swap one of my silicone jigs for a nice, smallmouth-catching bucktail!
