engine swap need help
got a 93 f150 4x4, aod, has efi 5.0,engine blown, getting ready to pull it out. need to know if 5.0 out of a 89-92 car will bolt back in without any problems.the trucks are efi, the cars are sfi, is this going to cause a problem?don't know what the difference is.Or would it be as easy to drop in a 77-79 400cid, carb'd motor?i have access to a LTD with this engine in it,can get complete running car reasonable? any help or tips are apreciated,thanks

If you swap the engine, the wiring harness, and the ECM, the answer is yes.
Another option (depending what blew) is to use the intake, harness, and ECM from your truck on the car 5.0L.
Bolts right on.
