If and how can I wire in a AMP and Subs to my existing STOCK FORD Stereo System? I know absolutely nothing about car stereo, however, I have a killa' Home Theater Setup. Please HELP! LOL I'm sure there are more stupid questions I will be posting soon!

I have an '04 F350 Lariat that I put all new speakers in, 2 amps and a powered Bazooka tube in it all to the stock deck! Sounds awesome, only problem is the stereo shop installed it since I'm pretty clueless about electrical!! Can't help you with the install but it can be done.

I already had the 6" powered "Bazooka" tube in my '99 V10.
For the following my bill was $920.00 cdn.

4- Pioneer TS-D680R 6"x 8" speaker
2- 2 channel amps, can't remember model (couldn't go
with the 4 channel because it wouldn't fit behind the seat)

Note: the price included pulling out the tube out of my old truck and mounting in the new one

Don't use the stock deck. You'd need to buy an fm modulator that goes to your fm signal and then has two rca'ss for te amps coming out of it. Buy a cheap aftermarket one, that has amp preouts. The sound quality will be much better

Keep the stock deck, keeps from prying eyes thinking if you have more than stock. I'll never go to an aftermarket deck again!

You could always go with a deck that has the same DIN size as the stock deck... thereby eliminating any spacers or gaps. Plus a big increase in sound quality vs. going with the FM modulated system.

Go here... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....6&type=product This head unit should fit into the stock opening... so you won't have any gaps or need any adapters and crap like that. There are other head units that will fit into the opening as well... you just have to look at the manufacturers web sites or go to crutchfield.com. The size is called "Double DIN" just so you know. Also has all the features so you can expand your system in the future.. i.e. amps, subs etc... Hope this helps.
