Don't understand your ?
When installing a IRS suspension ,the lower arm must be level with the ground when all weight is on the vehicle.this keeps the u-joints in the middle of their travel for road bumps.

I fitted a Mark 10 Jag rear end to a 1935 Ford Pickup. I left the cage on the diff, and modified the rear section to remove some of the cage to allow the rear end to be seen. I made a channel crossmember, cut out the centres where the disc calipers intrude into the channel and bolted it to the chassis. So far everything fits correctly. I made traction rods out of tube, used tie rods to locate them in the same plane as the inner mounting points of the lower control arms. This keeps the correct geometry for the movment in the suspension. If you need any further information, please email me direct. fordparts@telstra.com
