Jegs has a 347 stroker kit for 1982-up 302 motors. It comes with 4340 steel ESP H-beam connecting rods, and a forged 4340 steel crank. With this kit the stroke is 3.400", Rod is 5.400", the bore is 4.030". Would this kind of increase in displacement cause a conflict with the computer?
On speed density I would say yes without a custom tune. Speed Density unlike Mass Air have a set table of variables for the motor. It is not able to compensate when elements of the motor go outside the limits of those variables.
Someone who has done this may have hands on experience but coming from the Mustang world I know Speed Density stangs dont take modifications very well with out swapping to Mass Air.
You will need to do a mass air flow conversion before you can make mods like that. The computer will freak out and have no idea what to do. The engine will run poorly, if at all.
