Can I install a Class 3 hitch on 2000 XLT AWD
I was wondering if anyone knows if a class III hitch will fit or if they make one for 2000 XLT AWD? I see the spare tire is quite close to the back. If so where do I get one.

I have a '00 V8 AWD with the Sport package (bigger tires). I bought mine from etrailer.com. I had to get a special one that was available for use with the 17 inch rims. Go to the site, select your vehicle and it shows the available styles and types of hitches that they offer. Short money too, I think I paid 100 bucks for the hitch that I bought, which was a Hidden Hitch. It works great and etrailer.com had all of the accessories that I needed to complete the job. I use an electronic brake controller that I already had, but they had the new wiring harness that I needed for short money.
By the way, it was easy to install too.
