emissons call-out
hey everybody i got a question. my check engine light came on and i had a buddy check it out; P0455 "leak or blockage detected in evaporative emmisions control system". Any ideas out there on whats wrong with it? I have a 97 f150 4.2, new engine and the truck has 138k miles on it.

I have done that before, I forget what the code was. Make sure the gas cap is on and reset the ECM. See if it pops back up. I wasted 100 bucks one time to take my truck to the dealer for a check engine soon light, only to tell me I left my gas cap off(Don't ask, I still don't know how or why the light came on for that)
