PS2 Install

Looking in to putting a video system in my excursion. Has any one tried using a PlayStation 2 for there DVD player? Does it skip? I found a bracket that I can mount it Vert or Horz. Any advice would be great.

I would mount hor. I know they are supposed to work ver. But I don't think they planned it to be mounted in a vehicle that way.

I haven't used it for the dvd, but my kids do bring theirs on trips and play it constantly when connected to the screen. No skips, no problems.

Is yours horizontal or vertical, I keep ours horizontal. No probs that way.

Same, most of the time. I don't have it mounted, so it tends to slide around in the seat. Most of the time its at a slight angle, but still without promblems
