Daytime running lights
Hi.I do have a question. My rear view mirror (95 EB Explorer) has buttons and a delay bar. One of this buttons (far right) when pressed, the lights turn on regardless of the position of the headlamps switch. Is this button for the daytime running lights? I know something, when this button is pressed, the lights turn on and (depending on the delay slide switch's position) these stay on after the truck is turned off.
Also... What are the other two buttons (far left) on my same mirror for? Dimming the mirror? Does the daytime running lights turn the WHOLE assembly on? (headlamp and both parking lights?)
Thanks for clearing out the confussion.
As to your other questions, the other buttons are for your auto-dimming mirror. I think you know how that works.
I hope this answers your questions.
So its called autolamp, oh, thanks that really solves some of my questions. I was under the impression that the DRL module was bad and caused the WHOLE assembly to come on. Thanks a lot. This is my first car/truck with such features and I'm still kinda $toopid when it comes to this.
Ok, I appreciatte your comment and reply.
