Computer starting to go, or something else?
I have a 93 F350, 460 CID, 2WD, AT. First, the cruise control stopped working, then the speedometer starting acting flaky - I would be driving along at around 45MPH, and then the speedometer needle work drop down and then back up rapidly. Next the ABS light started to turn on, and sometimes go off if I turned off and then turned the truck back on. Finally the overdrive button lite does not come on if I turn off overdrive, although it is turning off overdrive. Does it sound like a main computer is failing, or is a coincidence that everything is going at once? The truck seems to run fine otherwise.

what about VSS ( vehicle speed sensor on the tail shaft housing on the tranny? on my '90 F150 the speedo cable terminates there, actually it's on the T/C, for a 4x4 and tail housing if 2x4. also has harness plug at this point too.
