If all these kids today wanna look like they are bad asses with their baggy pants and hats and chains around their necks. Let them put on some BDU's (Battle Dress Uniforms), and hang some dog tags around their skinny *** necks! Stick them in boot camp for a few months. You will see that wanna-be badass attitude go away real fast! Bet 90% of them will be crying for mommy.
ha ha this is funny....as an ex Marine i can tell you that most of these "gangstas" would never make it off the bus at Parris Island
The first time a D.I. gets in one of their faces. you'll see the puddle on the floor around their Air Jordans.
It's amazing how those guys can 'turn it off'. One of my neigbors is a marine reservist D.I. He is a great guy and has helped me with gravel and landscape advice anytime I asked (also runs a backhoe company).
It's funny to me, that if someone wears clothes, or opinates differently from your opinion, it's automatically wrong. I'm 23 years old, and yes I wear my hat crooked, it's a look, just like those of you who wear Levi's, boots, overalls, etc. You don't deserve to be called hillybillies, or rednecks. I'm not a ganster, nor do I wear big baggy clothes, I'm not a crip, or a blood. Don't judge people for what they wear. Everyone has a right to wear what the heck they wanna wear, don't hate on people, it's their choice, thats what makes this country great. How many of you wore bell bottoms, sported mullets, duck tails, crew cuts, flat tops? What about members only jackets, tight jeans. It's a FAD (For A Day), and when it's all said and done, we will proly look back and regret we did it, but that's a choice WE make, and we don't need anyone hating on us for it.

Under the house---hours and hours.
Also had to check on my backwards plumbing. A cheap plumber is the most expensive "bargain" you can get.
If I run into that plumber again, he's going to be wearing his hat sideways up his....

When I see someone with a hat on crooked/backwards, I assume it's a gangbanger and simply respond accordingly. Likewise concerning those that wear ski caps on hot summer days. I seem to recall a recent thread about weapon of choice......................

I never understood how anyone could wear a knit cap on a hot (or even warm) day. That must be really uncomfortable, but I guess that being comfortable in what you wear isn't a priority. I try not to judge people who wear things different from me (unless it says something stupid or ignorant, then I judge...and maybe comment) other than to say wow I'de never do that, wonder what he/she was thinking?
i always wanted to go to th army but i have a short temper and um a drill sargent my get punched or im might umm end up crying............................................ ....hmm boot camp ssucks..................
crooked hats i tried to wear one like it but i had my hat to tight and it hurt so i never did it again
Its really not the clothes that most of us "fossils" have a problem with, It's the attitude that goes along with the clothes. Most young guys in their teens and early 20's have a badass, tough guy attitude. All they wanna do is get into fights and beat the crap out of each other for no reason whatsoever. Fighting, walking around, talking like a street punk dont make you a tough guy. Working hard, getting your hands dirty. Not crying to mommy and daddy that you need a new cell phone, whining that you ran out of hair gel. Thats what makes you tough!!
As I said in a previous post, I believe if you put most of these "tough guys" in a real serious situation, most couldnt deal with it. I see 19 yo guys at work crying that they are working to hard , "its too hot", "its too cold". It makes me laugh. Actually it ticked me off! I could run circles around theses kids.
(and I'm a 39yo fossil).
So FN250, it has nothing to do with hating.
