Here's the scoop - I have a 96 F250. Started having problems with the brakes locking up intermittently. Read through some posts and thought I would try a process of elimination starting with the ABS. I disconnected the VSS on the rear diff and for the last month there hasn't been any locking up. I think that's the good news.
Now here's what I want to do - get my speedo to work again, cause it hasn't worked since the VSS was disconnected.
I wouldn't mind disconnecting the ABS altogether. How do I go about doing this?
Any feedback would be great. The local brake shop I go to can't seem to do anything with ABS (????) and I would like to do the work myself.
