67 Gastank relocation

67 Gastank relocation
I am moving my gastank into the bed on my 67 f100 2wd. I was wondering if anybody reccomends or dislikes this move. I need room in the cab and whoever already cut a hole for the underside tank. But it rotted away. I was thinking about bending some diamond plate sheet metal to cover the in cab tank. Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Sometime back I did the same thing. I do enjoy the extra 4" of leg room with the tank gone. And no sloshing noises. I installed big fuel/tool box in bed. Now I can drive from here to the moon. (And blow by those higher priced gas stations)
