Yeah there seam to be alot of variables to mpg.
I do want to take a good hard look at the fuel injectors though, because I think that there is something there that could be done. Ijust need to learn more.
I will just blame that part of it on the, extra long session of electro shock therapy that I had.
Just curios though about your mpg. do you know what your mpg was before doing all that you have done, and what are you getting now?

And as far as getting there, I think, I arrived when I found this sight.

Too many variables for any statistically significant measurables on my mpg...
(and, of course, the shock theraphy doesn't exactly IMPROVE your memory!)

I got a remote start with the Ex, then I didn't have the flashes, then had the flashes, then the straight pipe, then the turbo back, then the predator... and the fact that mpg wasn't really a concern to me other than it was better than my '98 Jeep 5.9L Limited... left me without the documentation to even guess at the impact...

but I do recall that I never thought it seemed overly low

And using my remote start all the time really has an impact on mpg...
when you average ANY mpg with ZERO mpg while idling, it will come out relativley low

but it's WELL worth it to me too pre-cool that black Ex in this Texas sun !
