Dash lights zapped

Help!!

i just put in a new stereo and shortedout my lights like the dash lights rear lights any 1 know how to fix this??

Check the fuses in the fuse box. Make sure the stereo is hooked up right with a good ground, triple check all wiring.

My cluster lights are out too. Fuse pops as soon as the lights are turned. Coincidently, I hooked up an amp recently. I'm pretty sure that all the grounds are where they're supposed to be though. How the heck can I figure out the cause?
