My Ex (94) pulls to the right. I measured from the back of the front tires to the back bottom of the wheel well. The right wheel was 3.5 inches and the left was 3.75. I have changed the radius arm bushings in the past, and the brackets are now bolted on as opposed to being riveted on. Assuming that the right wheel IS actually .25 inches behind the left wheel - I'll verify by measuring off a point in the frame instead of the fender. My question is, can I just put a few washers in front of the RA bushing to push the right wheel forward to where it should be?
I have a similar problem on my 93 xlt, it also pulls to the right. I took various measurements off the right side axle and compared them to a known good axle and found a .5 inch difference in mine. wheel is pushed back 1/2 inch. all measurements were ok untill i measured the axle past the radius arm towards the wheel, I think my axle is bent, hard to believe since the axle seems to be very strong and rigid. all of this happened after right front tire hit high sidewalk curb. maybe you hit something similar and your axle is bent as well I have yet to replace mine. might have to go to junk yard to get one. As far as placing washers on the radius arm to push wheel forward I don't know, I have contemplated doing the same thing but since my axle is bent pushing the radius arm forward might make things worst.
