90 emissions problems
) It was pretty buggered up during the install. Failed emmissions terribly. Here's some things I'm needing help with:1) There is no Air Diverter Valve. I'm planning on getting a salvage valve and tapping into the exhaust way up by the manifold. Can't find any holes/ports in the exhaust or manifold now. Where should I be injuecting the "upflow" air?
2) Since there is no Air Diverter Valve, the Air Bypass is sending all the air flow to the exhaust port right BEHIND the cat. Is this right? Most of the descriptions in Haynes etc. seem to indicate the downflow air should be pumped into or right in front of the convertor. Do I have to turn the cat around or put a port in the front end?
3) Can't find anything to hook the fuel injector cooling blower up to. Can somebody describe what exactly it should be blowing on or tell me where to find a picture?
4) I'm getting engine codes
12 -- Idle Speed Control motor or Air Bypass not controlling idle properly (generally idle too low) - ISC " and
93 -- Throttle linkage binding or bad ISC motor ISC HO2S not reading Fuel control
What is ISC and HO2S? Is that IAC/BPA-ISC?
I'm sure there's more, but that'll get me started.
