brakelight mixup
what would cause the brakelights and taillights to be backwards? the brake lights are dim and the tail lights are bright like brake lights. All I was doing was replacing a burnt out brake light in my 87 bII 4x4. I bought the bulb listed in the book at autozone. please help!!!

Sounds like you got the bulb in wrong ,take it out and turn it 180 degrees,and see if tht works.If not the contacks in the socket are tuching or 1 is broke,you will need a new socket. Is your socket a flat typ?
