Will they fit?
Will a 1977 ford 9" rear end fit under my 1990 F-150 with a 8.8 rear end with no modifications? The 77 has 4.11 gears w/ a detroit locker, and i know my front gears would have to be changed.
Also what would have to be done to get the 77's strait axel to fit under the front of my truck that currently has I.F.S.?? how much trouble would that be?

you should have twin I beam under the front if it is not a 4x4. and the rear diff should fit the frame on most Ford trucks from the 70s to late 90s is the same. measure the track and see if it is the same ..that would be from hub to hub
