Steel reinforced epoxy putty

Anybody tried this stuff? Sometimes its called Quick Steel or Majic Steel. Would you trust it to make a repair to an oil pan, fuel tank, or cracked manfold as they claim you can? Your supposed to be able to drill and tap it too.

I use JB Weld, that stuff is GREAT. Matter a fact, I just used it this afternoon. I had to put some new piecies of exhaust on my car and there were a couple of spots i couldnt reach with the welder so i just used the JB Weld to fill in the holes. You have to let it set for about 12 hours or so, if you can apply so heat to it, it will dry much quicker. You can use it on anything metal, I put a crack in my aluminum oil pan a while back, just drained the oil filled the crack up with that JB Weld from the outside of the pan. Next day filled it back up with oil and has never leaked since.
It doesnt hold up to really HIGH heat though, i have a crack on my exhaust manifold on our 95 bronco so to put it to the test I tryed it on that, didnt work though. It just kind of baked off.

(JB WELD, SOME GREAT STUFF )

We repaired an engine block that was broken away at the oil pan rail (rod went through the side) with Marinetex. It was still holding up when we sold the race car two years later.
