Strange sound!

Strange sound!

When I brake, usually heavily, there is like a snap like sound which I feel by my left foot on the floor. Any ideas?

Have you checked the caliper mounting? Have you checked the radius arm bushings lately? I know our 89's caliper bolts came lose, and would make a thump, as they moved upon braking. Also, if your radius arm bushings are getting sloppy, they can move and bind upon the force of braking. I would check those two first, then get back to us with any findings.
