drawing to much amps

drawing to much amps

Just installed a Kenwood KDCX679 cd player and usacoustics amp an 2 sony 10" xplod subs in my 85 Bronco all worked fine now keeps blowing 30 amp fuse from batt to amp. any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated

The reason a fuse "blows" is because of excess current draw for the rating, a short circuit, or a faulty piece of equipment. You could just be using the wrong fuse for your application. What are the ratings of your amp and subs? Or if your amp is not capable to power the subs in the way you have them connected, that could be the problem. If the amp is a bridged 2 channel you need to be sure the final ohm configuration of the subs is 4 ohms minimum. Also, how far is the fuse from the battery?
