My new "Garage".

I just ordered a 20' wide x 24' long x 12' high "portable garage" from
www.sheltersofamerica.com

It has a rounded roof, 36" rafter spacing, and 1.66 inch dia galvanized steel tubing. The cover has a 15 year warranty.

I will be placing it on a gravel pad in my backyard. I'll be mainly using it for storage of the 1978 Bronco and lawn mower, bicycles, lumber etc. But I'm sure I'll try and turn a wrench in there when the occasional project comes along.

I did about as much window shopping as one can do on the internet (because no one around here sells them) and I liked what I saw at this place.

Does anyone have any expirence with these? Questions, comments, ideas?

I checked your site and I did not see a portable "garage" as you stated. I did see a metal carport on it though, thats looks exactly like mine, one that I am very pleased with. I do not know the manufacturer of mine though , it was installed by a out of town contractor, purchased thru a local feed/tractor supply store. It is built very well for the money,

I assume it is one of the fabric covered units.

Wow, that must be a good fabric cover to come with a 15-year warranty! The tarps I use to cover my vehicles last about 6-9 months out here...

Yes, fabric.

And I guess it's called a "carport" on the website, not portable garage.
