Keyless Entry?

My 04 F250 crew cab does not have keyless entry. Anyone have a link to a place that sells this on the net?

Thanks
JD

Ebay sells alot of them....I'm not sure which one u need but....I'm sure someone else can tell u......here's the instructions from PaulC that I received on the same subject for my 99 Expedy:

"Once you obtain a set of remotes, program them as follows, first ensuring that their batteries are good:

1). Get in the vehicle, shut the door. All doors should be closed, but unlocked.

2). Turn the ignition switch from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, ending in RUN. If the keyless entry system has successfully entered the program mode, it will lock and unlock the doors.

3). Press any button on the keyless remote transmitter, and the doors will lock and then unlock to confirm that each keyless remote transmitter has been programmed. All keyless remote transmitters must be programmed at this time, so repeat Step 3 for the second transmitter at this time.

4). If the door locks don't respond for any keyless remote transmitter, wait several seconds and press the button again. If the door locks still fail to respond, either you have a bad/incompatible transmitter, a weak transmitter battery, or some type of problem with the vehicles keyless entry system.

5). Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position. If the keyless remote transmitter program was successful, the doors will lock and unlock one last time.

These transmitters are often available on ebay. Make certain the part number and ID information on the transmitter matches the info I provided above, to ensure compatability with your truck. If you're in a hurry, and don't mind spending the money, try www.keylessride.com"

Good luck!

I was looking on eBay and there are a bunch of fobs. Don't I need more than just the keyfob to have keyless entry or are the fobs themselves programmable using the procedure you described?

The truck has power locks, but no factory installed keyless entry.

Thanks

Yes, you will need to purchase a keyless entry system or security system.

Do you mean Keyless entry where you have a number pad on the driver door or use a keyfob to open doors?
