Question Hellwig on lifted X?

Hi Guys -

After reading all the posts on hellwig rear bars and seeing a few pics, it looks like the two piece drop links would allow installation on lifted Xs, but how much? Mine is up 6 inches in the rear.

I'm wondering if the drop links could compensate for that much lift, and whether or not I'd see as much benefit as trucks at stock height.

Could anyone with a similar setup comment?

When I put my Hellwig on it did look like the drop links would handle a LOT of lift...
and have seen someone that said they had a 6 inch lift say it worked fine....
worse case scenario ?
get you some bar stock and make a longer drop link...

Mine is currently up 3" in the rear and links could go 1" more - after that you will need longer links to get your Hellwig bar close to parallel. Nothing you couldn't improvise easy though with some bar stock.

What if its not lifted?

Mine is not lifted and when I went to install the sway bar the linkages set at the shortest possible setting, I still can't get the bar horizontal and I get a God awful popping noise. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am thinking about cutting hte linkages to make it short enough to get it horizontal. It just seems that Hellwig would have had that in the directions...oops I mean if it came with any.

Thanks for your help
Steve
