Exaust Stack Question

I am considering getting dual exaust stacks installed on my 2003 6.0 PowerStroke through the bed of my truck because I love the way they look on pictures I have seen. Although, in all of the pictures I have found where someone has the dual stacks installed their exaust seems to smoke alot. Is this just something that occurs with the stacks installed or will it still operate the same as my current exaust does with little or no smoke? Also, anyone got more pictures of dual stacks installed through the bed and any manufacturers of dual stacks which would be a preferred choice? (so far I have only found one place to order them from)

thx

the smoke is from a tuner or chip that has been installed. the stacks will reduce smoke if anything due to the better breathing exhaust.

the very best place to get stacks is www.grpipes.com they have EVERYTHING, period. this is where almost everyone selling stacks gets them from. they have ALL the adapters and y-fittings.

i am kinda fond of the single stack look and will be goin w/ a 4" down pipe right into 5" and out the pass side. a 5" slant cut will look sharp

I will make sure I post some pictures of it once I get it installed....

I've been thinking about it and decided to try to come up with some kind of custom bed cover for it that the stacks come out of to conseal the exaust pipe underneath...I think it would really look good and unique if I did that and could also still leave my bars on the sides....It would look like the stacks were coming directly out of the truck and leave a "smooth" custom appearance....

anybody got any ideas as to what type of bed cover (and where to buy it) I could get to modify and make this idea a reality? If possible I would need to keep the bed cover "functional" so that when it needs to be opened or removed for cargo (not very often) it would be easy to remove/open....
