I have a 92 f-150 5.8. I am trying to get some ideas togeather of things i can check to figure out what my knocking is....Its very faint i can stand outside the door and hear it from underneath the truck. I can also hear a slight grinding noise that seems to be coming from the distributer region.... I know its not the lifters and I know it is possible that the bearings are knocking (41k on 3yr old rebuild), also It might be a small exaust leak i do have one. I am just wondering If there is anything else i can check while im down there fixing my exhaust leak?
