Alternator Wiring
I'm installing an alternator in my '51 pickup. I have the diagram that has been posted here before. i just want to know what the I terminal and do you supply power to the S terminal on the regulator.

If you are not running an "alt" light in the dash, leave the "I" terminal blank.
You do supply power to the "s" terminal on the regulator from the ignition switch if you are not running an "alt" dash light. The "s" terminal on the alternator is left blank in this configuration, unless you have a Ford electric choke on the carb. The choke can be hooked to the "s" terminal on the alt.
