would a transmission flush help?
well my 93 f150 302 has an auto trans. In first gear it does not shift smoothly at all. Theres no clunking noises or anything scary like that, but seems like its just a second or two late on the shifts, but mostly just in first gear it seems, after that it doesnt seem to have much of a problem. I'm assuming its the trasnmission?? flush and fill on the tranny help?? any suggestions would be great.

I`m no expert , but check the obvious first. Check the fluid level . If ok , try a tranny service.Change out the oil and the filter.My `92 150 sometimes shifts the same way as yours.
