<!Apparently the legislators that put that up were out in the sun too long.> Gives a little of the taste of dumb laws noone really knows about that can be enforced on ussuspecting drivers. Long haul truckers know all about that kind of thing...
Reread the link, it stated that SUV's are exempt. If they have the law, they need to be sure that the drivers know it. Besides, if any monkey can pass it, then the soccer moms will take it and pass it, and what was gained? Also, just because they pass the test doesn't mean they will change their behavior.
Just in case anyones wondering how the requirements are in Texas, here's a copy as it states on the TxDOT site.

Lets just be thankful that the guy is confused and missunderstanding in Florida and not here in Arizona (Mesa). Cops around here will shoot you for that. If you dont look at "authority" (cops) with the kinda looks they want, your going to be shot at. Then the cop will have to appear in court, be found innocent, and get his job back.

Really? here in LA it's kinda similar they beat you first with a flashlight THEN they shoot you.
a while back a guy got shot for running from police after stealing beer just down the street.
I dont think it was too long ago, a woman was shot for trying to drive away from a cop when she tried to pass off a fake prescription at walgreens- he claimed she was trying to run him over... I dont have all the details on that one
LAPD in general is notorious for beatings, they beat a kid not too long ago. Video was horrifying to say the very least. Cop picked the kid up and slammed him into car a couple of times. He must have outweighed that kid by at least 50 lbs.
A couple weeks ago, another suspect was "detained" by cops, and while being held by like 3-4 cops, one guy pulled out his maglight and went to town on this guy. He struck him something like 11 times, and kicked him as well. It's a sad day when the we have to be protected from those that we used to admire and look to for protection.
I like the law it makes sense, it keeps morons from driving a vehicle and pulling a trailer that they have no idea how to handle...it keeps soccer moms out of my way on the interstate....it keeps people from buying a 350 dualy just because they can not because they need one hell they live in an apartment not on a farm where you would need a big 4x4 dualy...either way get the licence if you plan on commin through FL rockin a big truck with a class "E" licence....i got a class "A" so it dont matter too much to me as i can drive a pickup.....i dont like texas's screwed up gun laws but you bet your **** when i come through there the guns are locked up in a seperate spot from the ammo just cause i dont wanna get in trouble ....thems the breaks....welcome to FL
