opening the carrier
I know this may sound like an easy question but I want to ask to make sure I dont ruin this rear carrier, I have a 9" rear carrier I just got the bearings off and Im looking into splitting the carrier open to get in there (may have mini spool comming but I also may weld it up), I can see the 2 halves that join right where the ring gear bolts up, but do I just take a hammer/flat head and kinda pry it apart? because when I looked into it more I noticed 3 or 4 of the locking pins that have to be tapped in and I also saw a cap over each one that was placed. Hopefully someone can make sense of this, I just dont want to ruin the carrier.
